The Thriving Beyond Conflict® Method
This unique method creates a sustainable future for companies, delivering greater well-being and profit than before, when human conflicts consumed significant resources.
The new Thriving Beyond Conflict® method highlights that problems are not inherently bad, nor something to avoid or fight against. On the contrary, they offer new perspectives and opportunities to create something bigger and more thriving.
The Person Behind the Thriving Beyond Conflict® Method
I’m Dr. LL.M. Rita Bence, a lawyer specializing in business mediation and human rights. I have worked with many international companies, organizations, and diverse groups, and I have seen how damaging unresolved conflicts can be. These problems steal countless work hours and human resources from production, as well as from strategic and creative processes. I’ve witnessed highly successful companies jeopardize themselves simply because they failed to handle conflict situations properly.
This inspired me to seek solutions. I wrote my thesis on business conflict prevention and developed a unique method that not only helps identify and resolve conflicts with win-win-win outcomes but also supports the building of a corporate culture where most conflicts can be prevented or addressed early. In the long run, not only both parties win, but the broader business environment benefits as well. Ultimately, the goal of this program is to transform company culture and make internal communication more transparent and effective. The win-win-win is not a typo, it's my vision—because not only both sides, but the entire ecosystem can benefit when trust, open expression of needs, early recognition of conflict signals, and modern conflict management are embedded in company culture.
You may have heard the term “quiet quitting”—it refers to employees doing just the bare minimum to avoid being fired. They’re disengaged and not aligned with the company’s long-term vision.
So the real question is: how can we prevent this kind of behavior, and where are the tools that help leaders shape a company culture in which people are more productive, more committed, and stay with the organization long-term?
Is this just an illusion? Fortunately, no. There’s a study that shows the direct link between leadership behavior and employee attitude.
The research clearly demonstrates that the least effective leaders have three to four times more “quiet quitters” than the most effective ones. These managers had 4.6 times more quiet quitters and three times fewer employees willing to go the extra mile compared to organizations with top-rated leaders.
The two most crucial factors are trust and consistency. The Thriving Beyond Conflict® method specifically develops these skills—not only in leaders but also in employees. I designed the method with tools and language that are understandable and applicable for both sides. I created separate training programs for managers and senior leaders, and another for employees. Based on my personal experience, I believe this unified approach is more effective than applying different training methods within the same organizational culture.
